Brief:
To promote the brand globally prior to the English leg of the Red Bull Air Race World Series.
Our response:
CAN suggested a one lap race around the Silverstone circuit between the Red Bull Formula 1 car, Superbike and Air Race plane. CAN coordinated 13 cameras including on-boards, a steadicam and a helicopter as the race commenced. A 15-minute VNR was sold-in and distributed worldwide and a post-event promo was cut for screening on the big screens at the event.
Results:
Confirmed ‘sightings’ in Red Bull markets across the globe suggest the pictures were seen by at least 400 million people. In the UK the race was seen on Five, CNN, BBC News 24, Sky News, Sky Sports News & several magazine programmes. A fifteen minute version was screened twice on Channel 4.
