Brief:
The IOC asked for 3 films showing how the Olympic values are reflected in projects they support to be used primarily at the 2007 IOC Congress.
Our response:
CAN worked with the IOC to establish the right characters and projects to cover. The story was told first hand by the people involved in the projects and IOC members. Filming was carried out in Liberia, Kenya and Switzerland.
Results: A 20 minute film was included with the IOC’s Olympique magazine (10,000 copies). A revised version of the film was used in President Rogge’s presentation to Congress and a 70 second values film was screened to the world prior to the announcement of the winning city for the 2014 Winter Olympic Games. The videos continue to be used by the IOC.
