Brief:
To make the 26 x VNR feature packages available to broadcasters throughout the year. The options were to use satellite, deliver tapes or use alternative internet platforms.
Our response:
We decided to build our own digital platform and working with our internet partners, Narrowstep, designed and built the platform in 5 weeks. The platform can download broadcast quality footage, photographs, documents and any other data for journalists and broadcasters 24/7.
Results:
The service has worked out more cost effective and more flexible than other options, with over 200 broadcasters registered and hundreds of downloads being serviced every month.
